We should never give up on our dreams. Even when reaching them appears to be an impossibility. Because while we have dreams, we have hope and while we have hope we can still see an opportunity for happiness.
For the last few years Dad would often speak about wanting to return to Germany to spend time with our family. It was never going to happen, his health was too frail. He never stopped dreaming and talking about it though.
I was just thinking....maybe miracles don't always look like a magical cure for a medical condition or or a solution to world peace....maybe sometimes miracles look like the happiness on the smiling face of an old man with a dream that he refuses to let go of.
